DEFINITIONS AND RESTATEMENT OF VYGOTSKY’S THEORY AS IN TASKS 1A AND 1B
Linda Burgos:
1.      LEARNING is the acquisition of knowledge or skills through study, experience, or being taught. It can be for students, thanks they are the protagonists or even for teachers, because they are learning at the same time. Through a cognitive, an affective and a physical process to get a successful leaning.

2.      LANGUAGE is the process that consists of the use of words in a structured and conventional way and involves members from a community to interact intelligibly with each other; through vocal, written or gestural symbols developing skills in the people who are retaining the information by study, experience or instruction.

3.      On other hand teaching and learning are very connected. TEACHING is guiding and facilitating learning, enabling the learner to learn, setting the conditions for learning. Taking into account that Students learn in ways that are identifiably distinctive due to the multiple intelligences by Gardener.

4.      Constructivism according to Lev Vygotsky considers the individual as the result of the historical and social process where language plays an essential role. For Lev Vygotsky, knowledge is a process of interaction between the subject and the environment, understood as something social and cultural, not only physical.
Examples:

When the students have to give solutions to solve problems in class using some modal verbs like should, must or have to such as “I´m travelling to China to a meeting of my job. I do not know how to speak mandarin. Finally, I do not have much money”.
