Victoria Gualteros Carvajal:
Task 1. A.
Language: The term of language has been described for different
authors. In my opinion language is the accumulation of symbols, sounds,
non-verbal activities, and words that together create something to communicate.
Here is where the language takes form because of the need to communicate
something. This process is given by a cognitive, an affective and a physical
process to fulfill an effectiveness conversation between the people who are
interacting.
Learning: It is a process in which people are aware to acquire
knowledge, behavior or experience. It comes depending on the learner’s
expectations of the knowledge. It has also been considered as a change in
human’s performance or performance potential. Moreover It is focused on
connecting specialized information sets, and the connections that enable us to
learn more are more important than our current state of knowing.
Teaching: This term is quite close to the word learning and is
that they work together to make sense. Teaching is the result of learning, due
to this method is in charge of attending people’s needs, experiences and
feelings; also making interventions to contribute to learner’s acquisition of
knowledge.
Task 1. B.
Constructivism:
It is an own
construction that keeps producing day by day and the result is given through
the cognitive, social, and affective aspects which are the result of life experiences.
In this theory of Vygotsky,
the interaction between the student and the teacher is more dynamic and collaborative
on both sides, since the teacher's role is to provide the student with
significant environments, methods, strategies and contexts that enrich the
information of the knowledge he is transmitting and on the part of the student
his role is to be an active and reciprocal agent to this way of working since
he is responsible for his knowledge, to acquire the ability to solve problems
in significant environments and then discuss it analytically and subjectively
before social interactions of study .
Furthermore Learning comes from experiences.
Constructivists claim that the mind filters what comes to us from the world to
produce its own unique reality. Both student and environmental factors are
essential for constructivism, as is the specific interaction between these two
variables that create knowledge.
From my experience I can say that this method really
works when working with students and that the fundamental part in this is the Memory, when they combine both memory
and experiences their learning process is going to be more effective; Student
and environmental factors are essential; it is essential that learning takes
place in real environments and that the learning activities selected are linked
to the experiences of students in other words student manipulates the
information himself, giving place to his real understanding.
